In a couple weeks (after the Game of Thrones finale) HBO’s sexy and messy supernatural drama, True Blood, will return for its final season. true-blood-header
(Oh yeah, SPOILERS for past seasons of True Blood.)

My friends over at Geek Girl Soup asked some of their associates (including me!) for thoughts and predictions about the final season of True Blood. I cobbled together twenty one predictions.

It’s February, so I went through my social media feeds and grabbed all the MicroStories I’d tweeted during the month of January.

As a reminder, these represent story-essences composed in 140 characters (so I could tweet them with the hashtag #MicroStory.)

As usual, I only throw out Science Fiction and Fantasy #MicroStories. Because I don’t need my parents to get confused if I start writing dramatic relationship Flash Fiction.

Thoughts on the True Blood Finale (More or Less)

Recently, the insightful hosts over at Geek Girl Soup had a recap of the most recent season of True Blood, HBO’s Vampire Drama. Because they’re great over at GGS they requested input from their listeners, and because they are awesome, they posted my email on their blog entry that accompanies their podcasts. (You should just go to and check them out. I really enjoy their TV coverage but particularly their big movie season reviews and spotlights.)
I decided that since I’d already gone to the trouble of sending a huge email to them about the season, I’d just post it here to for an easy blog entry. I’m lazy like that. And here it is:

This is the second part of my extended World War Z review, first seen back in July on my Facebook feed.

I have a few more movie reviews to be brought over in this fashion, thank you for your indulgence.

Even More of a Review for World War Z, by Pat Sponaugle (again, that’s me.)

I realized that I hadn’t really covered some of the SPOILERY topics of the movie that I kind of touched on. So I’ll do it here. Oh, and just to be warned, I’m going to be talking about I AM LEGEND, the book and the movie. I have my reasons.

Read at your own risk because I danced around topics in my previous review. Rather than dancing with the topics, I’m going to smooch them. Gross!
