Judging Jaime

Tonight is the penultimate Game of Thrones episode, of the season and of the series. Right down to the wire, the good folks at Watchers on the Wall graciously allowed me to publish a feature article about last week’s episode, talking about one of the more controversial characters. The Kingslayer.

Ser Jaime, like John Shaft I can dig it) is a complicated man.

His decision to leave Brienne of Tarth behind and head back to Cersei had many fans who were strongly invested in the Jaime/Brienne relationship a bit disappointed. (I’m not talking about everyone, people’s reactions and sentiment towards Jaime run the gamut.)

If interested in what I have to say about Goldenhand the Just, feel free to check out the link below:

Judging Jaime: Reconsidering the Kingslayer.

We’re almost at the end of the journey through Westeros. Game of Thrones is quite special. There are no shows like this. There is only this.

(Comments are always welcome. Super welcome! But if you want to talk spoilery Game of Thrones talk with me (also welcome) I’d invite you to visit my Safe Spoilers page on my backup blog. That way my non-book-reading friends won’t be shocked with foreknowledge.)

If you liked this article, thank you! I have all of my Game of Thrones related articles on my handy-dandy Game of Thrones page should you want to read more but don’t want to navigate around my site.

  1. Fun stuff, although I think, at this stage, that requires many viewers to have a charitable patience which many feel has long been exhausted.

By the way, as promised, my own take on religions, icy, fiery and otherwise, is now up.
