TEN QUESTIONS TO PONDER BEFORE WATCHING GAME OF THRONES 806 – THE FINALE

This weekend will feature the final episode of Game of Thrones, the last episode of the last season. For fun, I’ve put together ten yes-or-no questions that will be answered during the episode. (I feel this is non-spoilery, since I don’t know what’s going to happen.)

No one is required to play, or even tell me their answers/predictions. There is no prize for getting all of them right, or all of them wrong. The reward is just in playing along.

For the upcoming episode …

1) Will any dead Stark (other than Ned or Lyanna) be mentioned?

2) Will any dead Targaryen (other than Viserys, Rhaegar, Aerys, Rhaella (Dany’s mom), or Maester Aemon) be mentioned? Because Jon Snow is also an Aegon Targaryen, if “Aegon” is mentioned, we have to have context that it is not Jon they’re talking about.) (Also, Jon and Dany don’t count, in case either die in the episode and you lawyers come at me.)

3) Will we unambiguously see a Faceless Man (one that isn’t Arya) ?

4) Will the word “poison” be said?

5) Will Bronn survive the episode? (He’s assumed to survive if we don’t see him killed.)

6) Will Dany be seen sitting on the Iron Throne in the episode?

7) Will we (meaning me) know all of the rulers or who is in charge of each of the eight regions of the Seven Kingdoms? (That would be the North, the Vale, the Riverlands, the Iron Islands, the West, the Reach, the Stormlands, and Dorne.) If we know their name or at least know what they look like, that counts as “knowing” them.

8) Will we see the actual blade of at least two Valyrian steel weapons?

9) Will Jon Snow survive the final episode?

10) Will Bran Stark be featured in the final scene of the show?

Feel free to hope that your answers to the above questions come true. Get excited when something happens that you guessed would happen, get mad when the writers do other than you want. (This is a fan go-to move, really.)

Sometime after the episode airs, I will come back to this post and make a link to where the official adjudicating-by-me answers are.

Best wishes and good luck!

(Comments are always welcome. Super welcome! But if you want to talk spoilery Game of Thrones talk with me (also welcome) I’d invite you to visit my Safe Spoilers page on my backup blog. That way my non-book-reading friends won’t be shocked with foreknowledge.)

If you liked this fun activity, thank you! I do a lot of writing about Game of Thrones. I have all of my related articles on my handy-dandy Game of Thrones page should you want to read more but don’t want to navigate around my site.
