TEN QUESTIONS TO PONDER BEFORE WATCHING GAME OF THRONES 804

This weekend will feature a new episode of Game of Thrones, the fourth episode of the eighth and final season. For fun, I’ve put together ten yes-or-no questions that will be answered during the episode. (I feel this is non-spoilery, since I don’t know what’s going to happen, other than there’s the after-battle cleanup.)

No one is required to play, or even tell me their answers/predictions. There is no prize for getting all of them right, or all of them wrong. The reward is just in playing along.

For the upcoming episode …
1) Will Qyburn say “Your Grace” more than once in the episode?
2) Will we see Rhaegal?
3) Will we see Viserion’s corpse?
4) Will House Glover/Robett Glover be mentioned (or seen) in the episode?
5) Will Riverrun be mentioned?
6) Will we see one of Qyburn’s scorpions? (The big crossbow/ballista – but if Qyburn has an actual living arachnoid scorpion, I will accept that.)
7) Will we see Heartsbane, the ancestral House Tarly Valryian steel blade?
8) Will we see at least five Dothraki survivors AND at least five surviving Unsullied in the same shot?
9) Will the word “Dragonglass” be said?
10) Will the Wall be mentioned (specifically the Wall – “Castle Black” does not count.)

Feel free to hope that your answers to the above questions come true. Get excited when something happens that you guessed would happen, get mad when the writers do other than you want. (This is a fan go-to move, really.)

Sometime after the episode airs, I will come back to this post and make a link to where the official adjudicating-by-me answers are.

Best wishes and good luck!

UPDATE: You can find my adjudicated answers to the above questions HERE.

(Comments are always welcome. Super welcome! But if you want to talk spoilery Game of Thrones talk with me (also welcome) I’d invite you to visit my Safe Spoilers page on my backup blog. That way my non-book-reading friends won’t be shocked with foreknowledge.)

If you liked this fun activity, thank you! I do a lot of writing about Game of Thrones. I have all of my related articles on my handy-dandy Game of Thrones page should you want to read more but don’t want to navigate around my site.

    • Thanks for sharing your answers. Riverrun was under Frey control, but Arya arya’d all those guys, so the castle’s disposition is a good question. Hopefully we will find out Sunday night

What do you think – are we going to see Meera Reed again (only if Bran’s nicer to her – loll! She & Arya would get along v well😉)?
