Now My Season 5 Watch Has Ended, Now My Season 6 Wait Begins

It’ll be a long wait until Season 6 of Game of Thrones starts up again…

The season’s over already? I hope this doesn’t have a negative effect on my loyal and obedient comrades…

So my watching of Game of Thrones has ended (for this year) but the resumption of my Game of Thrones blogging has just begun.

As in previous years, I’ll be posting a new Game of Thrones article (with maybe a more A Song of Ice and Fire focused backup article on my secret unsearchable support blog) every two weeks or so (I reserve the right to sneak in an extra article from time to time) and at the start of 2016, I’ll kick up the pace and publish a GoT post every week until the new season starts up.

These articles will be advertised on Wednesday, because it’ll be Westeros Wednesday. (But followers of my blog will know about them the previous Tuesday. Because I can’t wait that extra day to publish.)

Speaking of publishing, I’m hoping that Book Six will be out before Season Six. With sufficient time to read it.

There’s a lot to be talked about in regards to the just-ended season. Since people keep finding my 2013 In Defense of Stannis Baratheon post, I really must publish a companion article updating my position on that particular tragic kinslayer.

I have a list of topics (30+ or so) that I’ve been fleshing out during the season, but if anyone wants to hear my particular opinion on a Game of Thrones issue (or wants to challenge me to defend someone’s bad decision) let me know in the comments.

You might inspire me to post a long rambly position piece with amusingly-captioned images. (If you want to bring up a spoilery issue, that’s cool too, but please do it on my Safe Spoilers page.)

It was a rough season, and it’ll be a long wait until the next season with many unanswered questions. We’ll get there. Possibly together.

If we’re not eaten by Thenns along the way.

One of these characters has a Reddit forum dedicated to hating him. The other is a Thenn.

If you’re new to my blog, hello. I don’t write 100% about Game of Thrones, but it’s become the bulk of the content here. You can find all my past articles on my handy-dandy Game of Thrones page, if you want to get caught up on some of my past pieces. You have plenty of time to do so…

I make no claims to the artwork, but some claims to the text. So there.

  1. You can start watching Season 1 to 5 all over again, one every week. 50 episodes will make the wait more bearable.

I’ll have to wade my way through your past articles for insight (and to deal with the trauma!) Still have an hour of Cast of Kings left though – was so happy it was such a long one 🙂

  3. If TWOW comes out at least a week before that’s all the time I need!

That is all for now. There will be more blogging later.

  7. As long as the book comes out a day before the season premieres, I’ll have it read. I won’t get any sleep, mind you, but I’ll have it done. 🙂
